If you hate reading real estate agent bios, not to worry, I do too. They’re like cardboard — stiff, bland, and identical to every other one out there. You probably even saw this bio page and thought: “Oh God, is this going to be another boring list of achievements and awards?” “Where’s the photo of him standing in front of a million-dollar house or holding a phone to his ear with a big-toothed grin?”

Nope. Not here. (But for the record, I have some awards and designations, one bowling trophy I don’t remember winning, and yes, I passed the realtor and broker exams on the first try.)

Instead of lulling you to sleep, I thought I’d take the novel approach of giving you what you actually want: real answers to the questions you’re asking yourself right now. Because you care about the caliber of individual who will be ultimately guiding you through one of the biggest financial investments in your life.

You might be wondering things about me like…

Are you easy to work with?

Depends on who you ask. If you ask those who have stood between my clients and their real estate goals, they'll probably say no. But others will tell you I leave golden footprints in the sand. (This might be one of my favorite quotes from a previous client…) My mom thinks I’m “a peach” and recommends me to all her friends, even the ones who don’t need realtors.

Here’s what I can tell you for sure: I’m honest and candid. I take the same pride in being approachable and friendly as I do in zealously advocating for my clients. (Think Jon Snow fighting the White Walkers!) If you need a quick analytical brain, a strong dose of honesty, and a few mildly inappropriate jokes, you’re in the right place! Loyalty to my family, clients, and friends is one of my core values.

Are you going to return my calls and emails?

Yes, without question. I know this is one of the biggest frustrations and frequent complaints people have about their realtor.

You will find that I’m an answer-on-the-first-ring-kind-of guy. If I’m unable for whatever reason, I will provide same-day acknowledgment and work hard to provide a full response as quickly as possible. I have a high sense of urgency — especially when it comes to meeting (scratch that) exceeding your needs.

How fast can we get a deal done?

I own The Meru Group, which is a team of experienced agents. This means it’s not just me working for you, there’s a whole team behind you. We are all working toward meeting your goals and closing day.

I also own the RETHINK Real Estate brokerage. So when you work with me, you’re working directly with the decision-maker. (That’s right: Most agents work under larger brokerages and have to run everything up the chain of command.) Working with me? There’s no red tape.

Do you have experience doing exactly what I need?

Once I learn more about your goals, I can provide more personalized and specific examples. In the meantime, here are five areas that I specialize in:

1. Traditional home sales, such as buying and/or selling
2. Investments, including short-term fix-and-flips and long-term rental strategies
3. Distressed, short-sale properties and bank-owned properties
4. Seamless relocations, including out-of-state and international moves
5. Interior design, staging, and remodeling (think Nate Berkus minus the notoriety and hair)

Where do you excel most?

On a personal level, I’m pretty good at cooking. (I make a mean grilled cheese, just ask my kids!) My knees aren’t quite what they once were, but I still climbed Mount Whitney – the highest peak in the lower 48!

On a professional level, I’ve developed many skill sets over my 16+ years in real estate, including:

• The 5 practice areas noted earlier. (Seriously. I’m good at this stuff.)
• Listening. It’s truly a lost art these days. I want to hear what YOU have to say, so I can tailor a strategy around your goals and expectations.
• Negotiating. It’s part art, part science… and a little bit of magic. It’s one of my strong suits and a necessary skill in today’s aggressive market. It’s honestly one of the most important reasons you should hire me. (If you’ve gotten this far down in my bio, I assume you are considering hiring me…)
• Tenacity. I will be with you every step of the way. Bumps in the road sometimes happen (Have you heard of Murphy’s Law?), but once I commit to something, I will see it to the end.
• Candor. I pride myself on being open and honest about your real estate expectations — whether it be price point, length of time to sell, or if I am the best realtor to help you. I don’t want to waste your time or mine unnecessarily.
• Creativity. There’s no cookie-cutter approach when it comes to marketing your home or finding solutions to challenges along the way. I excel at doing things a little differently.

    Chad has a different business model which appealed to me for its lower costs. Lower costs with Chad do not mean "lower service": Chad provided excellent service, sound advice, excellent negotiations skills, and guided us through the process of selling our home step-by-step. I had attempted to sell my home with a traditional realty service: it remained unsold on the market for 5 consecutive months (August '19 - December '19) despite several price reductions. Chad sold it within 2 weeks of receiving my listings, and even more impressively before my home was even active (or for sale) on the MLS. I would strongly recommend Chad.

    Chad helped us sell our house that we owned for over 30 years and then was able to find a newer house near my daughter in a great neighborhood. He was always available to show us houses that were listed and prequalified us so we knew what would work financially for us. If you want to find a perfect house for yourselves then we would definitely use this hard working and professional realtor.
    He negotiated with the seller on things that we would want included and helped after it closed to find painters and landscapers that did quality work.
